We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Concrete Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for finishing concrete surfaces to meet project specifications, ensuring high-quality results. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete finishing techniques, as well as familiarity with various tools and construction processes. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including restoration, flooring installation, and renovation, contributing to the successful completion of commercial and residential structures.

Responsibilities

  • Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to achieve smooth, level finishes.
  • Install rebar and formwork according to blueprints and schematics to prepare for concrete pouring.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely during placement and finishing processes. .
  • Assist with concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work during various phases of construction or renovation projects.
  • Conduct restoration work on existing structures by applying finishing techniques that match original surfaces.
  • Use hand tools like trowels, floats, edgers, and screeds to achieve desired surface textures and finishes.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and project specifications while maintaining a clean work environment.

Skills

  • Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in rebar installation, concrete forming, and masonry techniques.
  • Experience with carpentry, flooring installation, and renovation projects.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Skilled in concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, texturing, and sealing surfaces.
  • Knowledge of welding, caulking, restoration methods, and flooring installation is a plus.
  • Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for high-quality craftsmanship.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 55 per week

Work Location: In person
