Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Surrey, BC, for an Azure Architect. The Azure Architect will design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders, developing solution architectures, optimizing system performance, and ensuring integration with existing IT infrastructure and software systems. The role also involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Azure services, tools, and best practices to deliver innovative and effective solutions.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of proven expertise in designing cloud solutions and implementing scalable & effective cloud-based systems.
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure, with a focus on cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring security and performance optimization.
  • Knowledge and experience in Software Development practices and methodologies for building and deploying applications within Azure.
  • Proficiency in Integration and Architecture, ensuring seamless connection between systems and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Azure certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and tools is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
