Position: Senior Indigenous Finance Officer

Location: Winnipeg, Manitoba

Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site (Hybrid eligible after 3 months)

Posting Date: November 14, 2025

Reports To: Senior Leadership – AIM

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM based on program needs

About Accurate Indigenous Management & Advisors (AIM)

AIM is a 100% Indigenous-owned organization providing financial administration, capacity building, and community-focused services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle financial management
  • Manage ISC funding compliance
  • Lead audits and year-end preparation
  • Mentor finance staff
  • Support budgets, forecasts, and reporting
  • Maintain confidentiality and financial controls

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years finance experience with Indigenous organizations
  • Proficiency in SAGE 300 (required)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop (required)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong communication and mentorship ability
