Vin Room is hiring for an Assistant Manager to join our team. We are proud to have 3 locations in Calgary.

The ideal candidate has their WSET 3 and/or hospitality management certification and has at least three years' minimum of experience in a hospitality management role. Floor management is important as well as a focus on the guest first. This person must be passionate about wine education and make it fun for our staff and guests, as well as be able to work within a team environment.

This is a leadership role and as such requires a person that can not only mentor staff in the wine program and service but also be an effective floor manager, as well as being active in providing guest first service on the floor.

The Assistant Manager reports directly to the General Manager and as such is expected to provide all the necessary details in the organization, deliverance and execution of the wine and bar program at a Vin Room location. Must be willing to get a security clearance for the YYC Airport. The individual excels in working in a team environment and understand and appreciate the Vin Room concept. Basic computer skills are required and understanding of such programs such as Microsoft excel and word.

Must be legally able to work in Canada and a resident of Alberta.
