Responsibilities:- Function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient-centered care.
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, interpret lab results, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
- Educate patients and families on preventative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
- Adhere to Living Water Clinic's mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.
- Stay informed on the latest medical advancements, participating in continuing education and professional development.
Licensure & Certification:
- California RN license current and valid
- California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire)
- Nurse Practitioner National Certification
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
