Position Overview:

Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
  • Function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient-centered care.
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, interpret lab results, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
  • Educate patients and families on preventative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
  • Adhere to Living Water Clinic's mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.
  • Stay informed on the latest medical advancements, participating in continuing education and professional development.
Requirements:

Licensure & Certification:

  • California RN license current and valid
  • California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire)
  • Nurse Practitioner National Certification
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
