THE COMPANY
4GL Solutions is a software company that has been in business since 1984 and specializes in the development and distribution of ERP software for Steel Service Centers in North America and Internationally. The rapid growth of this company has led to several key positions opening. We are seeking bright self-motivated individuals to fill these positions and become part of our team of experts.
THE POSITION
The ideal candidate will be motivated and have a love of programming and problem solving. You are excited to learn about new technologies and enjoy working in a small team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gain knowledge of our ERP application, SM3
Program enhancements and bug fixes
Identify the cause of bugs reported by customers and internal staff
Troubleshoot and address performance issues
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
College or University degree in computer science or equivalent
Knowledge of the ProIV programming language a plus but not expected. We will train you internally.
Knowledge of Python, Bash scripting and Java a plus
Strong knowledge of SQL
Knowledge of Oracle database a plus
Knowledge of Linux a plus
Strong problem solving skills
Able to work in a small team
