Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and a welcoming demeanor. This role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations, and providing exceptional guest services to ensure a positive experience. Multilingual and bilingual skills are highly valued to accommodate diverse clientele in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to handle inquiries, reservations, and guest requests
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette, professionalism, and hospitality at all times
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed

Experience

  • Previous experience in front desk or hospitality roles preferred, especially within hotel environments
  • Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
  • Experience operating multi-line phone systems is advantageous
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus to enhance guest interactions
  • Familiarity with hotel management software or reservation systems is beneficial
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and guest service best practices is desirable
