About Stella's Place Stella's Place is an innovative, community-based mental health organization supporting young adults (16–29) in navigating their mental health journey. We provide comprehensive clinical and peer support services, bridging gaps in the mental health system through a holistic, participant-driven model of care.
Position Overview We are seeking three Senior Mental Health Clinicians to join our dynamic team to lead and deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services to young adults experiencing debilitating symptoms of anxiety and depression. This new role will play a key leadership role in the development and delivery of a three-day-per-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), as well as contribute to Stella's existing programming, including Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), the Social Anxiety Program, and individual therapy sessions. The ideal candidate is an experienced, highly skilled, and creative clinician who is passionate about supporting young adults, comfortable working in a hybrid model, and committed to delivering engaging, relational therapy both in person and on screen. This position requires the ability to facilitate virtual programming with a professional and compassionate screen presence that fosters connection and trust.
Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Delivery & Leadership
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic services to young adults, including:
  • DBT-informed group programming
  • Social anxiety group programming
  • Brief and ongoing individual therapy
  • Facilitate and co-lead the three-day-per-week Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), with a mix of in-person and virtual modalities
  • Provide clinical oversight, mentorship, and case consultation to other clinicians and program staff, including students and interns as applicable
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
  • Ensure engaging and professional delivery of services on screen, including virtual group and individual sessions

Program Development & Evaluation
  • Collaborate with the Clinical & Recovery Manager and interdisciplinary team to shape the IOP design and adapt programming to meet the needs of young adults living with moderate to severe anxiety and depression
  • Use measurement-based care and validated outcome tools to assess participants' progress and program effectiveness
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of using data and outcome measures to inform and improve clinical practice
  • Contribute to the development and review of clinical resources, program manuals, and fidelity tools

Collaboration & Capacity Building
  • Work closely with peer support workers, medical staff, program staff, and community partners to ensure integrated care that reflects a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach
  • Promote an inclusive, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive clinical environment
  • Participate in cross-functional committees, case conferences, and staff meetings as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from a recognized institution
  • Registration in good standing with a regulated professional college (e.g., OCSWSSW, CRPO, CPO)
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy, with demonstrated expertise in:
  • DBT and/or DBT-informed practice
  • Treatment of anxiety, depression, and mood-related disorders
  • Structured group therapy delivery
  • Working with transitional-aged youth (TAY) or young adults
  • Demonstrated comfort and professionalism delivering therapy and group facilitation virtually (via secure video platforms)
  • Familiarity with measurement-based care and a track record of using clinical data to improve participant outcomes
  • Experience in developing or delivering intensive outpatient or stepped care programs is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and culturally responsive clinical practices
  • Excellent interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team

Hours & Reporting This position reports to the Manager, Clinical & Recovery Services. The hours of work range from 9:30a.m. - 9:00p.m Monday to Friday depending on programming.
