Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Aerial Foreman to join our team. As a Aerial Foreman, you will be responsible for installing fiber optic cables and related equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise in aerial work and strong problem-solving skills.
Direct Bore has been in business for 20 years and provides full cycle service starting with upfront planning, engineering, and collaboration with the customer to determine the exact nature of the work that's required.
The commitment to customer service continues throughout the life of the job. Direct Bore's customer support is complemented by a strong and experienced management team with a combined 100-plus years of experience in construction.
Duties:
- Install fiber cables with boom truck or other equipment
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute fiber optic projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with aerial equipment
-Report to Construction manager progress and issues
Experience:
- Previous experience in aerial work minimum 2 years
- Familiarity with telecommunication systems, hydro and telephone infrastructure
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized equipment for fiber optic installation and maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge for aerial equipment
