Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage wait times efficiently
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus with enthusiasm
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements using POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Answer phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette and assist with reservation bookings
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed to support team operations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or food service is preferred, including restaurant experience or hotel background
  • Strong communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to multitask effectively and handle high-pressure situations gracefully
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
