Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making every guest feel valued and appreciated.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, handling inquiries and reservations effectively.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
- Assist in managing the waitlist during busy periods while maintaining a positive guest experience.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for reservation management and order processing as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication and interpersonal interactions.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus, along with experience using POS systems.
