The Position
As a member of the SAP Support team, you will take on a hybrid role as a SAP Technical Services Lead. This position combines SAP technical basis functions with SAP security and compliance responsibilities. You will be expected to perform both SAP basis operations and SAP security design and administration.

Key Responsibilities
SAP Basis Administration

• Maintain SAP systems, including SAP Portal, SAP GUI, SAP S/4HANA & Fiori;
• Manage system performance, database tuning, transports, certificate renewal, and background jobs;
• Install, configure, and manage SAP Basis components such as SAP NetWeaver, SAP Kernel, SAP Gateway, SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP RFC connections, printers, and other connections;
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP system issues, including performance, connectivity, security compliance, and data integrity problems;
• Perform system refreshes, client copies, and ensure system availability (including backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes); and
• Collaborate with other teams (development, testing, operations) to ensure smooth SAP system operations.

SAP Security

• Manage user access, roles, and authorizations across SAP systems (S/4 Hana & Fiori);
• Administer and provision SAP user accounts;
• Design, develop, and maintain roles in alignment with business and compliance needs;
• Monitor and analyze security logs and audit tools to identify risks and remediations;
• Troubleshoot SAP security incidents and implement resolutions;
• Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to implement security requirements for new projects, enhancements, and transformation initiatives;
• Participate in periodic SOX and other audits, and document compliance reviews and evidence;
• Contribute to continuous improvements of security standards, processes, best practices, and automation; and
• Assist basis and functional teams in applying security patches and enhancements.

Skills And Qualifications
Must-have:

• 10+ years of combined SAP security and SAP basis administration experience;
• Strong understanding of SAP Basis administration: installation, upgrades, service packs, monitoring, and performance tuning;
• Experience in SAP audit requirements and segregation of duties;
• Strong knowledge of databases (HANA);
• Proficiency with SAP authorization tools and transactions (PFCG, SU01, SUIM, etc.);
• Knowledge of network/security (SSL, SSO, LDAP, etc.);
• Working knowledge of S/4 Hana security concepts;
• Working knowledge of Fiori security concepts; and
• Ability to troubleshoot both basis and security issues.

Nice-to-have

• SAP Security certifications; and
• SAP Certified Technology Associate in SAP Basis (SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA).
