We're looking for a talented individual to help us deliver our mission and have a big impact in this high growth and exciting industry. Responsibilities: Operational Leadership

• Oversee daily processing activities to meet production and quality targets.
• Assess manpower needs and coordinate the labor force across trimming, and post-harvest functions.
• Monitor product flow from harvest through final packaging and make adjustments as necessary to maintain throughput and quality.
• Ensure accurate ERP and physical inventory transactions are completed, with all documentation properly recorded.
• Track and maintain consumable items, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely reordering.
• Ensure the optimal functioning of equipment and report maintenance or calibration needs promptly.

Quality, Sanitation & Compliance

• Promote and maintain the highest levels of cleanliness across all processing areas.
• Verify all sanitation criteria and Health Canada regulatory requirements are consistently met.
• Ensure all product handling follows SOPs, GMP, and company quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify product integrity and compliance with safety protocols.

Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise processing and packaging staff, fostering accountability, teamwork, and performance.
• Administer onboarding, training, and ongoing development programs for new and existing employees.
• Provide daily direction and feedback to ensure staff understand production goals, SOPs, and safety expectations.
• Maintain documentation and KPI tracking for performance, yield, and efficiency metrics.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Identify opportunities for process optimization, waste reduction, and workflow improvement.
• Support SOP revisions, validation, and implementation of new operational procedures.
• Report on daily and weekly production metrics, variances, and corrective actions.
• Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation or support as required.

General Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with cultivation, QA, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to all workplace health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills; specifically, in Excel. Proficient with Microsoft Word.
• Post harvest processing experience would be ideal
• Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• The successful candidate will be expected to receive a background check as part of their employment.

• $60-65K base salary with performance-based bonus opportunities
