Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications using languages such as Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, Python, C#, Java, C++, and C.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs to enable efficient communication between different systems and services.
  • Collaborate within Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Manage version control using tools like GitHub and SVN to ensure code integrity and facilitate seamless collaboration.
  • Develop front-end interfaces utilizing frameworks such as React and Express to create engaging user experiences.
  • Optimize applications for performance, security (including RBAC—Role-Based Access Control), and scalability within cloud environments like AWS and Azure.
  • Integrate with various APIs and third-party services to extend functionality and improve user engagement.
  • Maintain Linux-based environments for application deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices in software development, including testing automation and code reviews.

Experience

  • Proven experience in software development with a strong background in web development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Express, and RESTful API design.
  • Hands-on experience working with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
  • Familiarity with version control systems including GitHub and SVN for collaborative development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components relevant to application deployment and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of databases such as MySQL or SQL Server for designing efficient data storage solutions.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative project milestones effectively.
  • Exposure to application development across multiple programming languages including Python, C#, Java, C++, or C is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of security principles such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) to protect sensitive data and system resources.
