Job Description
The Marketing Representative position is a lead prospecting role. This is a part-time position and is appropriate for someone with sales experience. The shift will be 4 hours in the morning, 7:30 am-11:30 am, or early evening, 3:30 pm-7:30 pm. The schedule is flexible; any day of the week can be worked. It's a fun job where you get to walk around residential areas and talk to homeowners that value home maintenance.
The representative will acquire leads by door knocking in residential neighbourhoods and seeing if homeowners would like a washing quote provided by our General Manager. The services we offer are roof moss removal, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and power washing areas like driveways. It is the representative's responsibility to see if the homeowner needs any of our services and to suggest having the work done. Since the representative is communicating with the client at their home, being respectful and friendly is very important.
What does a typical day look like?
Depending on the hours worked, the representative will meet with our General Manager at our home-based business in the Gorge area to go over the plan for the day such as the neighbourhood that will be worked in. The representative will then drive/bike/bus to the neighbourhood they will be doing. During the shift, the representative will keep track of the streets they have done so houses aren't knocked twice. The representative will wear appropriate footwear for walking between houses. When a lead is acquired, it will be inputted into a customer relationship management software app called Jobber. Our General Manager will then follow up with the homeowner to either do a site visit for the quote or provide the quote virtually from the lead the Marketing Representative acquired. The goal of the representative to get as much information as possible from the homeowner for the quote, as it will help our General Manager. The information needed is name, phone number, email, address, and services they'd like quoted. If a homeowner is interested, it is the representative's responsibility to show assertiveness and sign up the homeowner for a quote.

Compensation
● Hourly wage of $18 plus $5 per lead acquired. The hourly wage is offered to provide stability and the per lead bonus is offered to motivate getting leads. There is no cap on the number of leads acquired during a shift.
