Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role involves inspecting, identifying, and eliminating pests in residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently. Prior experience with sales, hand tools, farm machinery, or power tools is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. This position offers an opportunity to develop specialized skills in pest management while contributing to the health and safety of our clients.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest issues and entry points
  • Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various tools and chemicals
  • Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and recommend ongoing maintenance plans
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively during treatments
  • Maintain detailed records of services provided and follow-up schedules
  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of treatment areas, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Promote additional services through effective communication and sales techniques
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and environmental guidelines during pest control procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales or customer service is advantageous
  • Ability to operate various tools safely and efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and education
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
