Job Summary

Teter Warm is seeking a passionate and versatile Retail & Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This hybrid role blends sales, customer service, and creative marketing support, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys wearing many hats. You'll be the face of our brand in-store and online, helping customers discover our products while supporting daily retail operations, visual merchandising, and digital storytelling.

As a key member of our team, you'll drive sales, maintain operational excellence, and contribute to our marketing efforts through engaging content creation and customer communication across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism.
  • Drive sales by offering personalized recommendations and styling support.
  • Complete transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge to effectively communicate features, fit, and brand stories.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in person, by email, phone, and through social media channels.

Retail Operations

  • Maintain store appearance and visual merchandising standards according to Teter Warm guidelines.
  • Ensure all merchandise is presentation-ready (including steaming, tagging, and organizing).
  • Input and track purchase orders for incoming shipments.
  • Receive, unpack, and prepare stock for the sales floor.
  • Support stockroom organization and assist with inventory control.

Marketing & Content Creation

  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and help plan in-store events and promotions.
  • Create engaging social media content (Instagram Reels, Stories, TikToks) that reflect the brand's aesthetic and values.
  • Collaborate with the team to generate creative ideas that drive community engagement and sales.

Team Collaboration

  • Partner with store leadership to achieve sales targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Support various retail and marketing projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of retail or sales experience required; boutique or specialty retail preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Creative eye for visual merchandising and social media storytelling.
  • Experience creating short-form video content (Instagram/TikTok) a plus.
  • Organized, adaptable, and proactive, comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic inventory management is an asset.
