Responsibilities:

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
  • Perform delegated and assigned tasks under the supervision of a Care Manager
  • Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
  • Foster companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in clients' condition to the Care Manager.
  • Respect clients' privacy, dignity, and cultural preferences at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a recognized Personal Support Worker program.
  • Genuine compassion and dedication to improving lives.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different care needs and schedules.
  • Strong communication skills to build meaningful relationships.
  • Valid driver's license and or reliable transportation.
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check
  • Updated immunization record including TB Test (last 6 months)
