Joignez-vous à notre équipe d'ingénierie nord-américaine à titre d'ingénieur d'outils de conception, où vous jouerez un rôle clé dans l'amélioration de nos capacités d'automatisation de la conception mécanique 3D. Vous travaillerez aux côtés d'experts en conception de transformateurs de puissance pour développer des outils de pointe qui simplifient les flux de travail et rehaussent la précision de l'ingénierie. Comment vous aurez un impact

  • Développer des modèles et des dessins 3D paramétriques avancés dans PTC Creo pour les composants des transformateurs.

  • Automatisez les flux de travail de conception à l'aide des outils Creo comme Pro/PROGRAM, les relations, les tables familiales et les carnets.

  • Répondre aux demandes de la ligne d'assistance et fournir des mises à jour et des améliorations en temps opportun.

  • Collaborer avec les équipes mondiales d'ingénierie pour harmoniser les outils avec les normes de la plateforme.

  • Effectuer des simulations FEA et intégrer des modèles analytiques aux outils de conception.

  • Diriger des initiatives visant à améliorer la convivialité et l'harmonisation des outils entre les sites.

  • Collaborer avec des équipes interfonctionnelles pour soutenir les objectifs d'affaires stratégiques.

  • Fournir de la formation et de la documentation aux équipes d'ingénierie.

  • Soutenir le déploiement du système PLM Windchill à CTP.

  • Veiller au respect des règlements, procédures et lignes directrices externes et internes applicables.

Votre parcours

  • Baccalauréat en génie mécanique ou dans un domaine connexe.

  • Au moins 5 ans d'expérience en conception ou en fabrication de transformateurs de puissance.

  • Maîtrise avancée de PTC Creo.

  • Solide connaissance des principes de la DFMA et des processus de fabrication des transformateurs.

  • Expérience avec les outils FEA comme ANSYS ou Creo Simulate.

  • Connaissance des systèmes PLM, de préférence Windchill.

  • Le candidat doit déjà avoir une autorisation de travail qui lui permettrait de travailler pour Hitachi Energy au Canada.

The Opportunity

Join our North American Engineering team as a Design Tool Engineer, where you'll play a key role in advancing our 3D mechanical design automation capabilities. You'll work alongside experts in power transformer design, developing cutting-edge tools that streamline workflows and elevate engineering precision. This is your chance to shape the future of mechanical design at Hitachi Energy, while growing your expertise in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop advanced parametric 3D models and drawings in PTC Creo for transformer components.

  • Automate design workflows using Creo tools like Pro/PROGRAM, relations, family tables, and notebooks.

  • Respond to hotline requests and deliver timely updates and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with global engineering teams to align tools with platform standards.

  • Perform FEA simulations and integrate analytical models into design tools.

  • Lead initiatives to improve tool usability and harmonization across sites.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support strategic business goals.

  • Provide training and documentation to engineering teams.

  • Support the rollout of PTC Windchill PLM system.

  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in power transformer design or manufacturing.

  • Advanced proficiency in PTC Creo.

  • Strong knowledge of DFMA principles and transformer manufacturing processes.

  • Experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS or Creo Simulate.

  • Familiarity with PLM systems, preferably Windchill.

  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
