Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Heating Air Conditioning Technician based in Ottawa, ON. The technician will be responsible for system installation which would mainly include central and ductless heat pumps, high efficiency furnaces, and tankless water heaters. Additionally they would be responsible at ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, addressing customer concerns, collaborating with team members, and performing minor plumbing or electrical adjustments as necessary.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in retrofit system installations
- Basic understanding of plumbing and electricity principles
- Ability to comply with EPA standards and prioritize environmental safety
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g., G2, 313D) are highly beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, hands-on environment
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
