Fitter/Welder/ fabricator

Heavy lifting and awkward positions will be encountered

Must have the ability to work with, or without supervision

Must be able to work as a team

Must be able to follow verbal, and written direction

Must be able to work over time as required --- including short notice

Must have valid drivers' license, including wheels --- no bus rides

Must live within one hour of the Aim Industrial fabrication shop

Must have basic tools for this trade

Must be able to work safely, including, using overhead cranes, & forklifts

Must maintain a clean working environment

Must have experience in using torches, drills, punches, shears [ brake an asset ]

Must have experience setting up welding machines to suit jobs, & wire

Qualifications

Must have 4 to 5 yrs experience in custom fabrication - NOT JIG FITTING

Must have the ability to read and interpret fabrication dwgs, & sketches

CWB welding tickets in MCAW, GMAW - minimum flat required [ GTAW an asset ]
