Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.

• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.

• Complete inventory control functions including ordering and receiving, price changes, and daily reconciliation reports.

• Input pricing for upcoming sales, perform price verification process.

• Maintain perpetual inventory report and complete regular stock checks.

• Maintain all signage on the floor.

• Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of computerized workstation.

• Perform sales floor duties; stocking, rotation, and display of merchandise, operating point-of-sale system and assist guests with item selection.

• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and Customer Service:

• You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience; customer service and previous file maintenance experience would be considered assets.

• You are well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.

• You have strong data entry skills and extensive computer experience with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems.

• You have excellent interpersonal skills; attention to detail, versatility, creativity, and flexibility are required.

• You are honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do.

• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.

• You must be able to fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour is required while assisting on sales floor and performing inventory counts.

• You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment.

• You have a flexible work schedule including weekend rotation and holidays.
