The Role

We are currently searching for 2 Operations Administrators reporting to the Supervisor, Operations. These are full-time, 12-month contract opportunities.  The Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting daily operations and administrative tasks that support the overall logistics efficiency.  We're seeking candidates with flexible availability to work on a day or afternoon shift, but must be available for evenings and weekends as needed.

Morning Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Location

On-site at the Sudbury Distribution Centre

What You'll Be Doing
  • Daily reporting and ongoing verification/compilation of paperwork
  • Support operations working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Providing customer service for internal and external customers or third-party carriers
  • Scheduling inbound and outbound load appointments with flexibility
  • Investigating and complete customer credit requests
  • Building load manifests 
  • Performing other related duties and projects as assigned
Who You Are - Your Knowledge, Skills & Experience Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
  • Preferable experience with SAP, and/or similar ERP systems experience using business process management software
  • Experience working within a dispatch or warehouse environment would be preferable
Skills
  • Exceptional data-entry speed and accuracy
  • Proven ability to produce accurate, efficient and timely documentation
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent customer service, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
