Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Barber/Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves creating stylish cuts, trims, and treatments while ensuring clients feel comfortable and valued. The Barber/Stylist will also assist with retail sales and front desk duties, contributing to a welcoming salon environment.

Duties

  • Perform haircuts, trims, and styling services tailored to client preferences
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering professional recommendations
  • Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
  • Manage front desk responsibilities including check-ins, and payment processing
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and build customer loyalty
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest hair styling trends and techniques through ongoing education
  • Assist in maintaining a tidy and organized salon environment

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
  • Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
  • Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures in a salon setting
  • Ability to upsell retail products while maintaining genuine customer relationships
  • Prior experience in retail sales or front desk operations is a plus
  • A friendly attitude with strong customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
