Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, handling various tasks related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.

Duties

  • Load and unload products from trucks and containers, ensuring accurate handling of items.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking inventory and managing orders.
  • Perform order picking tasks efficiently to fulfill customer requests accurately.
  • Assist in shipping and receiving operations, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job duties.
  • Experience with order picking and shipping & receiving practices is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety protocols and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
