Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expediter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in keeping the service shop flowing smoothly and that starts with a well supported parts operation. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a solid understanding of procurement processes, inventory management, and customer service. This role supports both Parts and Service Departments helping drive efficiency, reduce delays and keep the momentum strong in the shop.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-stage parts for upcoming repair orders. Pull, label and organize.
  • Monitor inventory levels and track order statuses.
  • Manage data entry related to purchase orders, delivery schedules, and procurement documentation
  • Deliver parts and tools directly to technicians in the service bays.
  • Return cores and handle old parts for warranty processing and documentation.
  • Monitor parts room organization and restocking needs.
  • Support teams by ensuring timely availability of parts and supplies
  • Complete whole sale deliveries in the AM
  • Support quality control efforts by ensuring all required parts have been installed or returned.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to supply chain efficiency and inventory management

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dealership operations, procurement, or supply chain management preferred
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Valid Driver License
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and vendors
  • Mechanical knowledge or experience in manufacturing environments is a plus
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms and delivery schedules

This role provides real time operational support to the Parts and Service teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
