Hours: 5 days/week, including weekends and holidays, Shifts are 6:30 am – 2:30 pm and 11:00 am – 7:00 pm, every other weekend

Qualifications: Two-year Culinary Management Diploma or Red Seal Certificate, Food Handler Certificate

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of quality food production and portion control, avoiding waste.
  • Washes, Cuts and prepares food designated for cooking.
  • Cleans, stocks and restocks workstations.
  • Operates large volume cooking equipment.
  • Handles food in accordance with Canada's Sanitation Code
  • Orders and takes delivery of supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reports issues and concerns to management

You will need to enjoy working with seniors, can provide a clear vulnerable sector search, and possess excellent communication skills when interacting with clients, co-workers and contactors.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to $21.59 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Oakville, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
