Nail Technician

Overview

We are seeking a talented and professional Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nail care and customer service, with the ability to create a relaxing and enjoyable experience for clients. This role involves providing high-quality nail services, maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, and engaging with clients to promote additional services and retail products. The Nail Technician will play a key role in enhancing client satisfaction and fostering repeat business in a welcoming salon environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization standards to ensure client safety and hygiene
• Offer body waxing services as part of comprehensive beauty treatments (nice-to-have skill)
• Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and increase sales
• Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering professional advice, and creating a relaxing atmosphere
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies throughout the day
• Stay updated on the latest nail trends, techniques, and sanitation protocols

Experience

• Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for new technicians
• Strong knowledge of nail care procedures, sanitation practices, and current industry trends
• Experience with retail sales and upselling techniques is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
• Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not mandatory
• A friendly attitude, professionalism, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service are essential for success in this role

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
