Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter/Laborer to join our construction and restoration team. This role involves performing various painting projects across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Experience with blueprint reading, schematics, and the use of hand tools and power tools is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in construction painting, restoration, and carpentry while contributing to high-quality projects.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping as needed
  • Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including rigging and carpentry
  • Assist with demolition, site cleanup, and material handling to ensure smooth workflow
  • Perform industrial painting tasks in accordance with safety standards and project guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project expectations are met
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment

Experience

  • Prior experience in construction, residential or commercial painting preferred
  • Knowledge of restoration processes and industrial painting techniques is a plus
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, rigging, caulking, and carpentry skills beneficial
  • Strong time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
  • Customer service experience is advantageous for client-facing roles

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
