Advanced Laser Technician/ Medical Aesthetician

Zulu Medical Cosmetics is hiring an Advanced Laser Technician/ Medical Aesthetician to join our team

The right candidate will ideally have experience with the Fotona SP Dynamis Laser as well as experience utilizing other aesthetic devices, be a quick learner when it comes to new technology and treatment protocols and would ideally have some loyal clients who will follow you

We also perform a large number of Hair Restoration treatments, Vampire Facials, and other PRP related treatments, so PRP experience is considered an asset.

Under the supervision of the Physician, the Laser Technician offers professional treatments and ensures a follow-up with our clientele. The technician is responsible for providing medical-aesthetic treatments according to the needs of the clientele and the service offered, in addition to advising the clientele and participating in the sale of skincare products to optimize the beauty routine of the clientele. The technician also performs follow-ups on treatments and skincare routine and will offer personalized consultations.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to company protocols and standards;
• Administer appropriate treatments to patients using medical platforms as established in the initial treatment plan;
• Re-evaluate this plan over time and propose an appropriate follow-up according to identified needs;
• Advise on skincare and nutri-cosmetic products to optimize the results of clinical treatments;
• Ensure post-treatment follow-ups with clients;
• Occasionally perform complete consultations in support of the other technicians, nurses and/ or physician.
• Perform various administrative tasks in support to the team to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience
• Experience working with the Fotona SP Dynamis or offer similar treatments such as; Laser Resurfacings, Micro Laser Peels, Acne Treatments, Laser Vein Therapy, Scar Revisioning, Skin Tightening – Face and Body, Intraoral Tightening, Treatments for Melasma and Rosacea, Nail Infection Treatments, Laser Hair Removal, Women's Health Treatments and other Customized Laser Treatments.
• Additional experience with the above listed technology considered an asset
• Certification from a recognized laser institution
• Advanced knowledge of the skin, laser treatments, and skincare
• Experience with PRP treatments considered an asset
• Experience using Colorescience SPF and Environ Medical Grade Skincare considered an asset
• A reliable way to commute to and from work
• Keeps a clean and sterilized work environment
• Can follow instructions and carry out tasks in a timely manner
• Proper work ethic towards staff and patients
• Great at performing consultations and providing full treatment plans
• Speaks fluent English
• Willingness and flexibility
• Willingness to receive and participate in ongoing training, workshops, and trade shows
• Experience with Patient Now scheduling system, Microsoft Office is considered an asset
