JOB SUMMARY: Maintain and repair STHS and client skis and snowboards, fit clients for gear and provide transport in emergencies. Support and assist guides where needed and ensure STHS vehicles are safe, clean, and ready to go at all times (maintenance checks, gassing up, cleaning etc.) Helps with setup and maintenance of fuel equipment
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Fit clients with STHS rentals after completed binding certifications
- Repair & maintain STHS and clients skis and snowboards
- Sort and remove recycling & garbage
- Small repairs around the shop and office
- Maintain a neat appearance of the area (shoveling, dishes, etc)
- Assist guides and other departments as requested
- Hot Fueling Helicopters
- Maintenance of STHS Out-Buildings
- Landscaping
- Carpentry
- General Building Maintenance
- Operating Equipment
- Service and maintain Fuel system equipment
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Ski repair/rental experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- First aid certificate in an asset
- Class 4 Drivers
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ski repair and maintenance
- Ski boot and binding fitting
- Some heavy lifting
- Safe and courteous driver
- Work as a team with other techs
- Basic Carpentry Skills
- Small Engine Repair
