About Us
Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada's largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.
Job Summary:
A Guest Services Agent has several indoor and outdoor duties. Continually strives to provide our guests with the ultimate RMR experience. You are expected to retain knowledge of our point of sales program, the products we offer, the conditions of the ski runs and details of our services. In addition, you are expected be attentive to guests when scanning their lift pass to avoid fraudulent pass uses, and most importantly work to ensure our guests are set up for a successful day on the mountain.
Essential Job Functions
- Sell lift tickets, passes, and any other resort products
- Answer guest inquiries and potential complaints in a professional manner
- Assist guests with ticket/pass issues
- Complete daily cash outs
- Monitor RFID scanners at the base of the gondola
- Work outdoors for periods of time in varying weather conditions
- Be able to provide the guest with general resort and town information
- Assist other departments when requested
- General cleaning duties
- Other duties as required
Required Qualifications and Abilities
- Must be elligible to work in Canada - can provide valid SIN documentation
- Experience in the ski/summer resort industry or a guest relations type atmosphere is an asset
- Ability to communicate
- Customer service skills
- Sales skills
- Cash handling experience
- Basic computer skills
- Conflict resolution
- Team player
- Passionate about life in mountains
- Mature, enthusiastic, and guest service oriented
- English as a first language, second language an asset
