Technical Project Manager(Scrum Master) – Streaming Applications

The Role

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager & Scrum Master who is passionate about agile delivery and thrives in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment. This individual will be responsible for facilitating agile practices across multiple product teams, ensuring clear alignment among product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders while driving projects to completion. The ideal candidate combines strong Project Management / Scrum Master expertise with solid technical fluency, enabling them to engage effectively with engineers, understand platform constraints, and help teams deliver best-in-class streaming applications.

What You'll Do

Agile Leadership & Delivery

• Serve as the Project Manager (and Scrum Master) for one or more product teams building streaming applications across platforms.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, demos) and manage Jira boards for sprint execution.

• Guide teams on Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring iterative delivery and continuous improvement in a hybrid environment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Owners to prioritize backlogs and refine requirements.

• Coordinate with QA team to maintain quality and stability, collaborating across platforms to enhance unified design and user experience.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams across platforms (web, mobile, OTT devices) to remove blockers and drive delivery.

• Engage with Business Stakeholders to report progress, risks, and ensure product delivery aligns with strategic objectives.

Technical Fluency

• Understand technical concepts in API integration, video streaming (AVOD/SVOD), platform development, and app release processes.

• Facilitate discussions between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment.

• Anticipate potential technical dependencies and risks, helping teams plan effectively.

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Take ownership of projects, in conjunction with the product manager, to drive projects to the desired outcomes.

• Track and communicate delivery progress, risks, and key metrics to executives and stakeholders.

• Proactively identify and escalate risks or issues that may impact product delivery.

• Ensure compliance with accessibility, privacy, and security standards across products.

Your Story (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management & Scrum Master experience in digital product or media/entertainment environments.

• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and proven ability to apply them effectively in Agile and Hybrid contexts.

• Hands-on experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).

• Demonstrated ability to support multiple complex projects simultaneously, collaborating across technical and non-technical groups.

• Familiarity with streaming technologies, connected device ecosystems (Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV, Smart TVs), and mobile platforms (iOS, Android).

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and or PMP Certification or equivalent preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour
