The Phone Zone is looking for a reliable and skilled Mobile Phone Technician & Sales Associate to join our growing team. You'll handle hands-on repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting for iPhones, Androids, tablets, and more — while also assisting customers with sales of new and pre-owned devices.

We're looking for someone who's confident with both tools and people — someone who can repair efficiently, sell professionally, and help create a great in-store experience.

What You'll Do

  • Diagnose and repair common hardware issues (screens, batteries, charging ports, etc.)
  • Perform back glass repairs using laser machines safely and accurately
  • Troubleshoot software issues across iOS and Android platforms
  • Inspect and test devices before and after repair for full quality assurance
  • Assist customers with phone sales, trade-ins, and accessories
  • Maintain accurate repair and sales records
  • Stay current with new devices, repair tools, and evolving techniques
  • Keep your workspace clean, organized, and efficient
  • Deliver excellent customer service and clear communication about repair options and timelines

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience repairing smartphones and tablets (minimum 2–3 years preferred)
  • Strong understanding of both hardware and software diagnostics
  • Experience with laser back glass removal machines (preferred)
  • Confident working with iOS, Android, and computer-based systems
  • Friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced setting
  • Bonus: Previous experience in retail or tech sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
