Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience by providing exceptional service and support to the Lead Mechanic/Team. This position requires strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing shop environment.
  • Manage inventory levels, restock shelves.
  • Utilize effective time management skills to prioritize tasks throughout the day.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers, ensuring clarity in all interactions.
  • Assist mechanic with tool handling and preparation for repair work
  • Perform routine shop maintenance, including cleaning workspaces, organizing tools, and disposing of waste
  • Move and organize parts, supplies, and equipment as directed
  • Assist with basic vehicle checks and minor repairs if qualified
  • Maintain safety protocols and adhere to shop regulations
  • Perform other general labor tasks as needed

Experience

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • The technician should have a solid understanding of Automotives and experience is preferred. A high school diploma and a valid drivers licence.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
