Flowmax Waste Management Solutions Ltd is a privately owned and operated company providing mobile wastewater treatment and sewer containment services to camp, drilling rigs, and other remote locations. We are currently seeking a seasonal-term Vac Truck Driver for our winter project in the Fort McMurray area.

The position is approximately 3-Months in duration with an expected start date in January 2026 end date of mid-March 2026. Our ideal applicants will be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work safely in a team environment; a valid Class 3 license with a clean abstract is required and previous experience working on Suncor site(s) is an asset.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Operating a Vac Truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Moving, connecting, and inspecting sewer bags, lift stations, and hoses as required
  • Performing daily inspections of equipment prior to operation
  • Loading, unloading, and transporting sewage to the wastewater treatment facility
  • Abiding by all safety standards and codes
  • Following directions that are spoken or delivered by hand signals of ground crew members
  • Performing other related tasks as required

The desirable candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • The desire and ability to perform physical requirements of the job in demanding and extreme conditions
  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating a Vac Truck in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Class 3 license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Willing and able to work in a team setting and to help wherever needed
  • Ability to problem solve and find outside-the-box solutions in adverse conditions

Pay is subject to change, the listed amount is a general range of the expected wage for this role and is dependent on experience, skills, and days worked.
