Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Class 3 Driver to operate Combo Vacuum Units and/or Pressure Trucks for oilfield applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting and operating equipment, completing job tasks efficiently, and maintaining strong communication with supervisors and clients. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Combo Vac Trucks and/or Pressure Trucks in accordance with company policies, industry standards, and provincial/federal regulations.
  • Perform industrial cleaning, fluid hauling, line flushing, hydro-excavation support, and pressure-pumping tasks as required.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; document and report defects.
  • Set up work areas, hose connections, and equipment while ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Assist with jobsite hazard assessments and participate in safety meetings.
  • Complete all required paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, field supervisors, and customers to ensure efficient job execution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of assigned unit.
  • Follow all company, client, and regulatory safety policies, including PPE requirements and safe-work practices.

Qualifications

  • Valid Class 3 driver's licence with air brakes endorsement (clean abstract required).
  • Experience operating Combo Vac, Hydrovac, and/or Pressure Trucks preferred.
  • Knowledge of oilfield operations and equipment.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, extended periods outdoors).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Certificates & Requirements

  • Valid H2S Alive (if oilfield).
  • First Aid / CPR Level C.
  • Confined Space and Fall Protection (asset).
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS (if oilfield).
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing if required.

Work Conditions

  • Work may involve extended hours, overtime, nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather, industrial environments, and physically demanding conditions.
  • Travel to remote or customer worksites as required.
