Overview

We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our beauty team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nail care services in a welcoming environment, ensuring clients leave satisfied and eager to return. A strong focus on sanitation, communication, and retail sales will help enhance the client experience and grow our salon's reputation.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
  • Offer body waxing services as part of comprehensive beauty treatments
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in all tools and work areas to ensure client safety
  • Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, recommending suitable treatments, and creating a relaxing atmosphere
  • Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
  • Educate clients on proper nail care routines and aftercare instructions
  • Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies throughout the day

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Nail Technician or in a similar beauty service role preferred
  • Proficiency in nail care techniques including gel, acrylics, and nail art
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols and safety standards in a salon environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
  • Ability to perform body waxing services is a plus but not required; training can be provided for the right candidate
  • Experience in retail sales or upselling beauty products is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$24.35 per hour
