Job Summary

Goldwyn & Sons Barbershop and Cocktail bar is an establishment where we provide haircuts, drinks and now introducing manicures and pedicures for our clients for a more elevated experience.

We are seeking a skilled and personable Nail Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where your expertise in nail care. The Nail Technician will also engage in retail sales and upselling to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures (gel nails, acrylics, and nail art is a bonus) with precision and attention to detail
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas and tools to ensure client safety
  • Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate treatments or products
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance client experience and increase sales
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or special requests
  • Keep accurate records of services provided and maintain a professional appearance at all times

Qualifications

  • Valid license or certification as a Nail Technician
  • Experience with nail care techniques including gel, acrylics, and nail art is a bonus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
  • Commitment to sanitation standards and safety protocols
  • Ability to upsell retail products confidently and effectively
  • Previous experience in retail sales is advantageous but not required
