Trauma Therapist (EMDR & Memory Reconsolidation) — Registered Social Worker (MSW)

Location: Ajax, Ontario (in-person with option for hybrid)

Hours: Minimum 15 client sessions per week, including 2 evenings

Compensation: Commission split, paid monthly

About The Relationship Agency

The Relationship Agency is a private therapy practice offering in-person and virtual counselling across Ontario. We help people heal, keep, and grow their relationships — including the one they have with themselves.

We're expanding our trauma therapy team in our new Ajax office and are looking for an experienced Registered Social Worker who is trained in memory reconsolidation-based methods (e.g., Coherence Therapy, NARM, or related approaches) and/or certified in EMDR.

You're a great fit if you:

  • Are a Registered Social Worker (MSW) in good standing with the OCSWSSW
  • Are certified in EMDR and trained in memory reconsolidation methods
  • Work from an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach
  • Have strong clinical skills and a warm, authentic presence
  • Are available at least two evenings per week
  • Are looking to work in a collaborative, values-driven practice

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual trauma therapy to adults (in-person and/or virtually)
  • Maintain accurate client records in Jane
  • Collaborate with our clinical team and participate in peer consultation
  • Ensure client care aligns with PHIPA and OCSWSSW standards

Requirements

  • Master of Social Work (MSW)
  • Registered and in good standing with the OCSWSSW
  • Certification in EMDR
  • Training or experience in memory reconsolidation-based methods (e.g., Coherence Therapy, NARM, or similar)
  • Private practice insurance
  • Access to your own computer; familiarity with Jane and Google Workspace preferred
