Overview

We are seeking a safety-conscious forklift operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cherry pickers, forklifts, and warehouse equipment to facilitate the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to perform some heavy lifting as needed (rarely up to 60lbs). We are looking to hire a strong performer who values and takes pride in the quality of their work, appreciates and fosters teamwork, and holds themselves to high level of accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, Cherry Picker, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform order picking tasks using order pickers to fulfill customer orders.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damages
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience on a Cherry Picker, Forklift, or in a similar role within warehouse distribution center.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills for inventory management and order accuracy.
  • Familiarity with order picking processes and warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 pounds) as required by job duties.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
