We are seeking a proactive, hands-on IT Systems Specialist to join our team and help drive reliable, efficient performance across the organization.

Position Summary

The IT Systems Specialist will provide comprehensive technical support across the company, including daily IT operations, hardware and software troubleshooting, system maintenance, and end-user support at all levels. A key focus of this role is managing and maintaining our specialized ERP system—particularly updates to pricing, costing, master data, and integrations that support CNC machines on the manufacturing floor. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and supporting users in both office and production environments. Because this role works closely with the manufacturing team, the ideal candidate must be comfortable and confident operating in a manufacturing/warehouse setting as well as in an office environment.

Key Responsibilities

General IT

  • Work closely with the other IT Specialist and department leaders.
  • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and network equipment.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot network, server, and connectivity issues.
  • Support cybersecurity practices, backups, patching, and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and infrastructure enhancements.

ERP System Administration & Data Management

  • Maintain and updated ERP master data, including item records, BOMs, routing, costing, pricing, and vendor information.
  • Support users across departments with ERP questions, troubleshooting, and workflow assistance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure accurate data flow between the ERP systems and CNC machines.
  • Create and maintain systems documentations, data standards, and process workflows.
  • Assist in ERP upgrades, module enhancements, testing, and validation.

Manufacturing Systems Support

  • Provide technical support for CNC-machine data integration from the ERP system.
  • Assist production teams with troubleshooting software-related disruptions to manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure manufacturing systems remain stable, secure, and aligned with operational needs.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field- or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of IT support experience in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networks, and general IT troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (administration or power-user level).
  • Ability to manage data with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to CNC machines, data integrations, or industrial systems.
  • Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or data analysis tools.
  • Experience with ERP modules involving inventory, costing, BOMs, or production scheduling.
