Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity
  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining detailed records
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing additional assistance
  • Promote social-emotional development by encouraging cooperation, sharing, and conflict resolution
  • Maintain organized classroom materials and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices

Skills

  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings
  • Current Saskatchewan Child care Level or willing to obtain soon
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members

Must Haves

  • Current Saskatchewan Child care Level or willing to obtain soon
  • Valid First Aid and Cpr or willing to obtain
  • Current Criminal Record check with vulnerable sector
