Whitmore Park Child Care Co-operative is dedicated to creating early childhood programming that is holistic, responsive, building on children's strengths, and abilities. Following the Ministry of Education's Play and Exploration, educators implement child-led play-based programming. Working as a team with co-workers and families is essential to creating collaborative partnerships that meet the individual needs of each child.

Educators are responsible for but not limited to caring for up to 10 children between the ages of 18 months to 5 years, assisting in the preparation and serving of snacks and meals, general cleaning duties, providing teacher-lead and child-led activities and experiences, and maintaining accurate children's records.

We are currently looking for a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator for a term position to cover a mat leave. The position requires working an 8 hour shift with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break and a 15 minute paid coffee break, Monday to Friday.
