Cleaners required for various locations in Brantford. 2 x Heavy duty and 1 x On call/Floater Positions available immediately. Permanent, part-time.

One heavy duty position is in Brantford, Monday to Friday, evenings 5:30-8:30pm. Duties include cleaning washrooms and all fixtures, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming in office areas, collecting garbage, dusting and other duties as directed by the supervisor. Must have reliable transportation.

One heavy duty position is in Brantford 20 hour split shift on Saturday and Sunday. Duties include cleaning factory washrooms and all fixtures, sweeping and mopping in factory offices, clean in cafeteria, locker rooms, collect garbage and remove to disposal area, dusting and other duties as directed by the supervisor. Must have reliable transportation and steel toe safety shoes.

One on call/floater position in Brantford and surrounding area for support services to join our team. This position entails covering for other cleaning staff who are absent due to illness, vacations or other reasons, at any number of our local accounts. The ability to "Float" from one location to another provides the coverage we require to complete our cleaning requirements at each location as needed. Able to report to work at short notice. Average hours per week You may be required to work in more than one location per day/evening as needed. Own transportation a must. Must be extremely flexible - this position does not follow a fixed schedule.

Duties could include: sweeping, mopping, cleaning floors, cleaning and disinfecting washrooms including fixtures, cleaning lunchrooms and cafeterias, dusting, vacuuming, glass cleaning, garbage collection and removal, other cleaning duties as required.

For all positions:

  • previous cleaning experience required
  • must have reliable transportation to and from work or own vehicle
  • dependable persons needed, able to report to work as scheduled and on time daily
  • able to follow instructions and complete all tasks as trained; attention to detail
  • police check will be done
  • safety shoes required for work in industrial facilities
