Role Description
This is a full-time, 8 week on-site role for a Summer Camp Counselor in the Laurentians in Quebec. The Summer Camp Counselor will be responsible for assisting to lead camp activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of campers, and fostering a positive camp environment. Daily tasks include helping to lead daily activities, providing guidance and support to campers, and collaborating with fellow staff members to create a cohesive and engaging camp experience.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a camp setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with campers and staff
- Current lifeguarding certification is an asset
- Background in education or experience in teaching is an asset but not mandatory
- Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative
