For nearly a decade, Hear and Now has been providing lessons of the highest quality all over the GTA. We are an in-home and virtual lessons music service provider who pays particular attention to making learning music a fun, individualized and positive experience. We have a special appreciation for musicians who enjoy teaching popular styles of music (i.e. r/b, gospel, pop, musical theatre) and are currently on the hunt to add more of you to our roster.

Role Description

Hear & Now is looking for a qualified music teacher with experience in both vocals and piano. Our mission is to provide highly personalized lessons, with a special focus on modern and contemporary styles. We are seeking someone who is comfortable teaching pop, R&B, indie, musical theatre, and similar genres. Knowledge of or RCM qualifications would be considered a bonus.

This role involves
traveling to students' homes
across the GTA, so a reliable vehicle and flexibility are important. There is also significant opportunity to grow within the role, including working with our partner schools, leading extra-curricular programs, teaching during March Break and summer camps, and facilitating workshops and special events.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience is a must.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching required.
  • Access to a car is preferred
