Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests
  • Take and process customer orders accurately using a POS system
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages in accordance with established recipes and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Uphold proper food handling procedures and adhere to food safety regulations
  • Assist in restocking inventory and supplies as needed
  • Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
  • Potentially need to help with cleaning the restaurant/washroom or the dishes as well

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with guests
  • Familiarity with sanitization practices to ensure a clean and safe work environment
  • Understanding of basic math concepts for order processing and cash handling
  • Certification in food safety is a plus but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour
