Bob's Painting & Decorating is hiring professional painters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. Must have a minimum 5 years experience. This role requires a strong understanding in staining, small drywall repairs, as well as operation of spray equipment. Must be able to work well with other team members. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects
- Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces to restore them to their original condition
- Utilize rigging and scaffolding safely for elevated or hard-to-reach areas
- Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete painting tasks with precision
- Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times during work
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project specifications are met
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of waste materials
Experience
- Proven experience in construction painting, residential painting, commercial painting, restoration, or industrial painting
- Knowledge of construction processes and schematics reading is preferred
- Hands-on experience with rigging, carpentry, caulking, and the use of hand tools and power tools
- Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments
- Prior experience in customer service is a plus
