Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Immigration Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance and support to clients navigating immigration processes, ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating efficient case management. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analysis skills, along with bilingual proficiency in English and French. The Immigration Consultant will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while managing complex documentation and records. This is a paid position suitable for individuals with administrative experience and a passion for helping clients achieve their immigration goals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with immigration applications, documentation, and procedural requirements
  • Provide expert advice on immigration policies, procedures, and eligibility criteria
  • Manage client records and maintain accurate databases using Microsoft Access, SharePoint, and other database tools
  • Prepare and review legal documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Coordinate with government agencies and external partners to ensure timely processing of cases
  • Conduct analysis of case files to identify potential issues or discrepancies
  • Offer bilingual support in English and French to accommodate diverse client needs
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries professionally and promptly
  • Organize meetings, presentations, and training sessions demonstrating strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Support project management activities using Microsoft Project to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain records management systems for efficient filing, retrieval, and document security
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients when necessary to facilitate case progress
  • Contribute to procurement processes related to office supplies or services as needed
  • Demonstrate leadership in team collaboration while managing multiple priorities effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in administrative roles or immigration consulting preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including Microsoft Access, Project, SharePoint, and Windows operating systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French (bilingual)
  • Demonstrated analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex information accurately
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in records management and filing systems
  • Effective negotiation skills coupled with customer service experience
  • Ability to manage time efficiently under deadlines while maintaining high-quality work standards
  • Strong leadership qualities with the capacity for teamwork and independent problem-solving
  • Knowledge of databases relevant to immigration case management is a plus
  • Experience in project management or procurement processes is advantageous

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Pay: $2,958.33-$6,000.00 per month
